Learn to Sing in 4-Part Harmony

A one day singing course for men
Organised by the Sound of Three Spires Barbershop Chorus 27 March 2010
Grant assisted by Harmony Foundation, a registered charity for music education

The chorus has run successful courses over the past four years, attracting over 150 registrations and resulting in many of the candidates subsequently joining choral groups, encouraged by their newfound confidence in their singing skills

The course is designed for both enthusiastic beginners and those more accomplished singers, who wish to test and develop their confidence.  During the structured one day programme, candidates should improve quality of their voice and establish an ability to sing with others as part of a group singing four part harmony – unaccompanied. The group will also learn a popular song in four part harmony and perform it as a finale to the day.

There are no pre-entry auditions or tests and no candidate will be asked to sing solo unless they specifically wish to do so.  Those enrolling will be provided with song learning material prior to the event to help them prepare for the workshop programme. so that course time can be concentrated on developing vocal skills and course song performance.

The course is FREE of charge and will be held on

Saturday 27th March 2010
10.30am to 4.00pm
At
Xcell Leisure Centre
Mitchell Avenue, Canley
