There are currently 198 member groups in the West Midlands region of Making Music. They are distributed over a very wide area and a visual representation can best be achieved by going to Google maps. Placemarkers on the map have specific meanings.
indicates that the member groups are Instrumental Groups, including wind and brass groups of all types.
indicates that they are Promotional Groups, including all member groups which promote concerts and festivals,
indicates that they are Vocal groups, including all singing groups eg.choral societies, barbershop clubs and gospel choirs,
Clicking on a placemarker will bring up web and member support details about the group you have located . Please note that map positions may not be exact, and it is always best to contact the groups directly for up to date information.

For those people who wish to find a group by county or metropolitan district, or compare details relating to size of member group, rehearsal days, frequency of concerts and rehearsal venues, a good start will be to download the Register of Members database.
