Making Music

The region publishes a variety of documents throughout the year. Network, the regions newsletter, is published in January, May and September. A concert diary featuring events involving large sections of our member groups is published in the September of each year with a revision copy in January of the following year. Chamber Music Choice is published by Jim Page on behalf of Making Music West Midlands and covers chamber music concerts organised by a wide variety of promoters many of whom are members of Making Music. Finally, each year, the region publishes an Annual Report summarizing the years events and highlighting the regions annual 'get together' which may take one of a number of forms.

All of these publications have until recently been sent out to members (and a growing number of personal subscribers) by post but the increasing cost of postage is now preventing us from doing so. Instead, members will find future copies of Network and Concert Diary available only by downloading from this site. However, members should also find that back copies will continue to be made available and that a search on the home page will locate the query pretty quickly.

Quite apart from the above, there are numerous administrative documents which are required from time to time to satisfy the requirements of the charity and the more popular of these are highlighted in the Downloads area.
